The Boring Co. has lobbied up in Nashville, nearly two years after beginning to explore the idea of building its ride-share tunnels under the city.
The Boring Co. has hired Nashville lobbying and consulting firm Jigsaw, according to newly filed registrations with Metro. The company aims to build 25 miles of tunnels for its ride-share service, linking downtown with Nashville International Airport and a separate route running up and down the Broadway/West End Avenue corridor.
Jigsaw, which had been one of several firms angling for the work, adds Elon Musk's tunnel business to an already high-profile client list. Company principals Sam Reed and Steven Henry both registered to work The Boring Co. account for Jigsaw.
